Strirog & Prasutitantra

Introduction:

Strirog & prasuti tantra is one of the most important branch of Ayurveda dealing with Pregnancy, labor, post natal care & diseases related to female reproductive organs. Department provides special infertility services through Ayurvedic procedures. Department also provides Ayurvedic medical care & treatment of various diseases of female like Artav dushti, Artan kshay, Artav vruddhi, DUB(irregular menstrual cycle), Dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), PCOD, Leucorrhoea (yonigat shwetstrav) etc.

Ayurvedic Care- Prasuti section of the department provides ayurvedic medical care & treatment for pregnantwoman. Department also performs various ayurvedic procedures like utterbasti, ksharkarma, yonidhavan, yonipichu, basti, virechan etc to female patients as a treatment part.

Surgical procedures - Tubectomy, hysterectomy (abdominal & vaginal), vaginal repair etc are performed.

Diagnostic procedures - Ultra sonography, X-Rays, All types of blood &urine Examinations are available.

National Programmes - Services under different national programmes like Tubectomy, IUCD, Pregnant woman monthly treatment (check up &medicine dispensing) etc are provided in co –ordination with government sector.

Diagnostic & treatment camps - Department take initiative in conducting different camps such as-Diagnostic camp for Ca Cervix (garbhashay mukh Karkarog nidan), Pregnant woman check up, Ayurvedic Vandhyatwa( infertility) Diagnosis & treatment, Shwet &rakta Prader –diagnosis & treatment.
